Perihal Handphone Keluaran China

Telefon Meletup, Nasib Tidak Buta

Lambakan Telefon China Tak Gugat Samsung

Hotlink 365 Stretches Prepaid Validity to 365 Days

Mr Tan Lay Han (right), Maxis Head of Consumer Marketing, launching Hotlink 365, the first prepaid service that stretches prepaid validity to 365 days.

Kuala Lumpur, 16 July 2008 - Hotlink, the country’s no. 1 prepaid service from Maxis Communications Berhad (“Maxis”), today redefined the Malaysian prepaid mobile market with the introduction of Hotlink 365. This new service is the first of its kind to be offered in Malaysia. It allows the customer to make and receive calls for the entire 365 days, thereby enabling full utilisation of prepaid credit balances within the period. Customers now can enjoy uninterrupted service over the 365 days. To subscribe to Hotlink 365, prepaid customers only need to pay RM33 for the one-year validity, and top up RM30 within the first six months of signing up.

At the launch of the Hotlink 365 today, Tan Lay Han, Maxis Head of Consumer Marketing, said, “Hotlink 365 is a new service that offers our customers a more innovative option for mobile connectivity. Current prepaid services in Malaysia offer validity periods of between 10 to 30 days, and customers are required to reload to be able to make outgoing calls. With Hotlink 365, customers have the flexibility to reload anytime to make calls within the 365 day period. The customer’s line can remain active for just about 9 sen/ day. We are certain that Hotlink 365 will benefit our customers by allowing them to keep their lines active for a longer period.”

Both existing and new customers can subscribe to this service. To subscribe, Hotlink customers need to ensure the account is active with a minimum balance of RM33. The customer then needs to dial *108*6#. RM33 will be deducted from the account. The customer will then receive an SMS confirmation within three days informing her that her prepaid validity has been extended by 365 days.

If the customer still has paid validity in her account, her new validity will include both the existing paid and the new 365 day validity. All benefits earned by existing customers will remain intact after the activation of this service.

Hotlink has consistently been offering innovative products to its customers. It recently extended its Activ5 programme to an Activ10 programme that offers customers cheaper mobile rates for calls to 10 friends and family members, and also introduced the Super Savers programme which offers cheaper calls via creative bundling packages. Both programmes can be activated easily by dialling *100#. Hotlink 365 is the latest in Hotlink’s value offerings to its customers. For more information, please visit www.hotlink.com.my.

DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd’s Senior Marketing and Communications Consultant Nancy Tan said, “DiGi takes ‘easy’ to the next level with this contest where customers can win big effortlessly. This contest, for instance, will see 800 customers winning 1 year of free talktime and 8 more lucky customers winning RM100,000 in cash every week.”

“Customers only need to perform a reload of RM30 and above, which automatically makes them eligible to enter the contest,” she added.

There are two tiers to the contest:

· Every 2000th customer who reloads RM30 and above will be shortlisted every week.

· Upon receiving a call from DiGi, just answer 3 simple questions correctly in the fastest time to win free talktime to the value of RM50 every month for 12 months.

· The winner will be selected through the process described below:

· There will be eight winners of the RM100,000 over eight (8) weeks.

Winners will be announced on www.digi.com.my and press advertisements.

DiGi Prepaid will be running fear-themed roadshows at key shopping malls throughout the country over the contest period.to make it easier for customers to reload. The roadshows offer skin crawling fun and games in support of its interesting campaign theme that one doesn’t need to go through tough, daring challenges to win RM100,000.

“DiGi is always looking for new and exciting ways to engage with our customers. For instance, last year DiGi gave away 50 cars in 50 days in celebration of Malaysia’s 50th birthday. It drew tremendous response,” added Tan.

The DiGi Prepaid’s Easy Win Contest ends 26th May 2008.

Mini Race at 1U by Nokia

I took part in the mini "Nokia N82 Soul of the Night" race in 1 Utama (1U) Shopping Centre after the launch of "The Discover the Soul of the Night" campaign presented by Nokia today. With a team of 5 (from left Victor Stephen, A. Jospeh, Vincent Chung, me and Simon Chow), we were given 30 minutes to complete all four tasks. In oder to complete the task, we have to go to the identified place and snap a picture of the storefront in 1U by using N82. Then we must upload the picture to Flickr with preset account (we got Angelica - a young-pretty game marshal to assist us).

Task 1: "I've got to get a gift for my neighbour's kid. He's 8 and loves toys. Where'd you buy that gift?"

Our Answer: Toy City

Task 2: "Friends are coming down for the holidays. The love singing. Where should i take them?"

Our Answer: Jukebox

Task 3: "1'm told i can get some petty breath-taking panoramic views of KL from One Utama, where should i go?"

Our Answer: bird-eye view from roof top floor of 1U

Task 4: "Ah... now it's time to go grab some dinner. Problem is my hubby's a vegetarian. Where can i eat?"

Our Answer: Yisheshu

Rezeki Deepavali... Tuah Hari Raya Haji

Nasib menyebelahi aku! Impian menjadi kenyataan kerana nama syarikat yang disebut dahulu telah membuatkan aku teruja kerana Si Zaleha, Sub Editor majalah Ering tak ambil bahagian. "Dah tentu lah aku yang menang," jerit hatiku. Belum pun namaku disebut, aku dah bersorak kegirangan seperti orang separuh gila.
